I just saw your post in the Loss CheckIn. I am so sorry for your loss of your sweet babies. Welcome to the board. I hope you can find some comfort and support here with us.
To answer your question, a "rainbow baby" is a baby that is born following a miscarriage or still birth.
In the real world, a beautiful and bright rainbow follows a storm and gives hope of things getting better. The rainbow is more appreciated having just experienced the storm in comparison.
The storm pregnancy loss has already happened and nothing can change that experience. Stormclouds might still be overhead as the family continues to cope with the loss, but something colourful and bright has emerged from the darkness and misery.

Thank you so much for the reply! That is what I assumed, but I just wanted to know for sure. I am sad to be part of this board, but it has quickly brought some comfort to know I am not alone by along shot.
