  My gyno office gives out clean socks to wear, last time it was a brand new socks. My obg is a germ freak, so I think he likes his patient to have clean socks on!

  Nothing is uglier than a naked person with socks on. I always take socks off for exams and will do the same at birth.

  LOL!  I had an ex who would leave his socks on to DTD.  Maybe that it why he is an EX!

  Pretty sure there were no socks once my water was broke and it felt like I was constantly peeing myself.  Wet socks are even worse than naked with only socks.

  So far it's been warm for my appts so I've been wearing Toms without socks. I'm due in June in SC so I can't imagine wearing socks for the last couple of months!

  lol....what a funny question!

  I think I've done both...just depending on what I am wearing.  If i have socks on, I don't take them off.  However if I wore sandals/heels to the appointment then I have no option than going bare foot.

  Off during my medfree birth because I was naked and I and out of the tub
  
  On during pelvic exams unless my shirt is off too...then everything comes off.
