Another 6 month shots question.

DD had her 6 month shots yesterday. She usually has a pretty bad week following her vaccines but this time shes pretty happy and playful. But she is not eating much... shes only had about half of what she normally has. The last 2 rounds she liked to eat and sleep afterwards but this time she wont open her mouth for a bottle. I have to really try hard to get her to eat.

Did anyones LO have the same lack of appetite post vaccines?

    Yes. Happens with every round of vaccines for us. DS is not a very goo eater anyways but noticeably worse after his shots. Usually lasts a week or so for us.

    Starbear, I think out LOs have the same eating habits. Have you found or tried anything that has increased your LOs intake? At our appt I was told I need to get DD to drink 30 to 32oz of formula a day... our good days she will eat 25oz. I have no idea how I am going to get her to eat more...

    Sorry no. On good days, he will take in over 25 oz but that doesn't happen consistently. I've worried about it but now I know there's nothing I can do if he won't eat. I just notice that he goes through phases of a few weeks of eating ok then goes through a week of bad eating. I just chalked it up to his eating habits. He's happy and growing. He's only 16 lbs though and 28 inches so he's just long and lean I guess.

    Thanks :) DD is 15lbs 14.5oz and 28 inches so long and lean sounds good to me. Im just sick of being worried sick!
