How much is your LO eating per feeding and per day?

DS only takes a max of 4.5 oz per bottle. If I give him anything more, he's guaranteed to spit up a ton. I would say he takes about 28-30 oz a day. There are some times after he's done eating he seems still hungry and gets pissed! He sleeps from about 9pm-6a and I try to feed him roughly every 2 hours during the day.

Wondering what everyone else is doing?

Bump just ate my response....

My LO finishing about 4oz per bottle. Every once in awhile she is still hungry after that so I will offer another 2oz. She is FF and eats about every 3 hrs during the day. She goes to bed around 6:30pm and sleeps until 6:30-7am with an occasionally MOTN feeding.

DD takes 3 4-ounce bottles in daycare.....she then nurses 1-2 times before bed, at bedtime, twice in the middle of the night, and first thing in the morning. So I have *no idea* what she is taking in, but my guess is about 32 ounces of breastmilk a day?

She drinks 6-7 bottles of 4-5oz each day. I stopped measuring exact amounts a few weeks ago. It made my head hurt.

AJ eats 6 oz bottles 4 times a day. Occasionally he will sneak a 5th in there if he gets up early. He sttn from 9:00-7/8:00.

DS is a piggy and eats 5-6 times a day with his first bottle usually 7 oz, then 3 6 oz bottles every 3-4 hours, sometimes a little 2oz snack like right now as I type and then he eats anywhere from 5-8oz before bedtime. He sleeps from 730pm - 5 or 6am, but occasionally wakes around 330ish.

She takes 3, 4 oz bottles a day at daycare and I nurse her in the morning (probably about 4 oz), and in the evening on and off between 6 and 7:30 (probably 5oz). She is then up A LOT from 11pm-5am and I estimate she takes another 5 oz during that time. So anywhere from 24-28 oz a day is probably accurate.

As of right now:

5-6 oz every 3-4h, sleeps from 830-6... so what's that...5 feedings a day... 25-28oz/day. If she comes up short on her feedings for the day (like when she's sick), she'll wake at 3am for another.

This is about right because she is just under 11.5lb and I've heard 2.5 x weight = total daily intake, which would be 28ish oz.

Do you offer a bit more than he usually takes? I offer LO 6oz, she usually drinks 5.5. She's teeny tiny and she has downed 6.5oz before...... are you sure your LO isn't hungrier than 4.5oz? I just trust that LO will not overeat, and until my pedi tells me she might be overeating, I let her eat until she doesn't want the bottle anymore.

I have a piglet.

DS eats 6 oz per feeding, FF, and eats from 6am to 8ishpm, every 3 to 4 hours.

Usually it works out to 5 feedings a day, around 30 oz.
