RF Radian in a Mini Cooper

Does anyone have a picture of a Radian rear facing in a Mini Cooper?

I thought someone on here had said they used a radian in a mini and that it worked nicely. I've seen conflicting info on wether it fits rear facing and I was curious.

Currently I have my DD RF in a Coccoro and I find the front seat space tight and not very usable. I'm thinking ahead to when she outgrows the Coccoro rear facing and whether or not I would just use the Coccoro FF or try and get a different RF seat.

Re: RF Radian in a Mini Cooper

  • I believe gimmitimmies has a radian in a mini and is very happy with it. I haven't been in a mini, but had two RF radians in my beetle for a while, pre angle adjuster, so it definitely can fit in a small car with some blood, sweat and tears lol! I love my radians and was happy they fit in the beetle since nothing else would have accommodated my tall, long-torsoed children and also fit in the beetle!

  • I would def try it with an angle adjuster. You can actually use the adjuster once the child sits up well independently.

I know for my child I want them RFing as long as possible. So buying a new carseat would be my solution.

  • Thanks for the replies. We don't have a store nearby that carries the radian so I can't try it out easily. My DD still has about 2 inches of torso height before she outgrows the Coccoro so I have some time.
