..beginning to think about and start planning my LOs first birthday party?
I'm already pinteresting first birthday stuff and I have picked out his theme already. I'm not trying to rush it, but I think it's exciting to think about!
Yes I do think about it from time to time especially when I come across a cute theme. Honestly I will probably start really planning soon because it will be here before you know it! Plus we are taking a big international trip in June as well so I need to make sure I coordinate dates and such.
Absolutely not! I'm trying hard not to start planning it too LOL I'm hitting pinterest but am going to try to wait til Feb 1st.... I think you have to start at least thinking about it so it's exactly what you want it to be for your LO
The closest I've come to planning was picking up some cute 1st bday invites I saw on Walmart that were 75% off a couple months ago. I know we're just going to do something casual at home, which is more than I even planned on before she arrived, but since everyone seems to do 1st bday parties now (when I was little it was just family), I figured we can do the same, but I absolutely refuse to do a themed, location rental, big deal party for a 1 y.o. We'll invite some friends over, have some food and cake, and call it a day.
I've thouhgt about it, but haven't planned anything. We have our first plane trip tomorrow and our first wedding and vacation with LO in March. After that is over then we will probably start planning more for his b-day...at least get a list together of who to invite (as there will be a lot of invites to go--big family/smallish house).
Plus I might have to work around a cousin's baby shower...I won't find out when she is due until Friday (this was a surprise pregnancy).
Whoa, I haven't planned anything, and probably won't until a few weeks before. It will just be family. And here I was all proud of myself for ordering a cake for her baptism in 2 weeks!
I haven't planned anything, but I've been thinking about it lately. I can't even believe how fast she is growing and want her to stay my baby for much longer, but it is exciting to think about.
Re: Am I the only one..
No, I haven't thought about her first birthday. It's more than 5 months away. Who plans birthdays 5 months in advance?!

psshh, no. We host a grilling competition in June so we'll probably just combine it with that until she gets old enough to care.
I do understand setting a date now if your summers are super busy though.
A grilling competition? That sounds awesome!! and yummy!
