I have taken birthing classes before but not at Kent General. Generally they talk about different breathing methods, positions that help with labor pains, first few days with baby, how to bathe a baby, change a baby, swaddle, things to look out for etc.
I signed up for an eight hour course and could not imagine what they would fill all that time with.
Our class was pretty much just as long but it was broken up into 4-5 2 hour classes. My favorite part was "practicing" the labor massages because H had to give me like a 30 minute massage ha ha

That is definitely an incentive to take the class. I hope we have the same portion!
I did the one day class because of work. I get home to late to attend the evening courses over a 4-5 week period.
