Orbit car seat compatibility??

Hi all,

I really want to purchase an orbit g2 carseat, but I am not crazy about the stroller. I just LOVE the carseat. Does anybody know if the seat is compatible with the snap n go? I know one claims to be universal to infant seats, but then the Orbit is not listed as one of them.

Any insight on this would be great!

The carseat and carseat base are a round unit, when nearly all other carseats are not. For that reason, I feel it is pretty safe to assume that the orbit carseat is exclusive to the orbit stroller which connects as it does with the carseat base.

Your post sounds like spam, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. We have the stroller but chose to buy a different car seat. The safety reviews are questionable. You might want to do some reading.

Yeah, wrong board. But no, orbit infant seat is only compatible with their stupidly expensive stroller. It's not compatible with anything else.

How do I get to the baby gear board? When I went to "community" it only gave me the option to post by birth month or by situations such as "multiples" or "over 30". When I went to the baby gear section, there was no option to post for community. Thanks in advance!

It's not spam, I'm a person :-) Wouldn't spam have lots of spelling and grammatical mistakes :-) Ha!

The safety reviews are good. There was an issue with a consumer report rating, because consumer report installed the seat incorrectly! They retracted when they realized that they were installing the seat the wrong way. I am not sure if they have re-reviewed it yet, but they realized they made a silly mistake.

All carseats pass the same safety tests.

It's exclusive to the stroller. Any reason/feature why you want that particular seat? That is a hefty price for just having the ability to rotate the seat.

Yeah, it's meant for the stroller. Also that thing looks like a beast. No way in helll would I wanna carry that thing around.

It's awesome, but it is bulky. The frame is light. It's made of aluminum. I often use it as a high chair by turning it around. At the park the shade is handy and sometimes she wants to face out and other times face in. I do agree the price tag is high. Ours was a gift.

I get it. I just look at that and then compare it to our Mico. I specifically chose our seat cuz it was light. That thing just looks like a monster.
