This check-in is for moms who already have a child(ren).
Ladies, I'm so sorry I dropped the ball on this check-in. I was hospitalized for HG and have been having a terrible time with M/S this time. But I think I've turned a corner this week and kind of feel human again.
Anyway, here's the check-in!
1. Due Date
2. Team Blue/Pink/Green (we'll update these when we get there)
3. AW your children!
4. Have your symptoms been the same or different this time around?
Re: BTDT (Been There Done That) Moms 2+ Check-In
2.Team Blue/pink/green. Cant wait to find out
3. AW your children! My DS just turned 2 last week. Every now and then, he randomly stops what he's doing and runs over to me saying "I love you, mama!" And gives me a big hug. Makes me tear up every time.
4.Have your symptoms been the same or different this time around? Completely different. With DS I had super smell and couldn't eat anything for the first tri. This time I'm feeling pretty good except for fatigue and sore boobs and bloating.
Team green.
I went to the bama game yesterday and DS8 is so hard core into the games he tickles me with how he tries to explain it to DD5. It's too stinkin cute
This pregnancy has been rough. M/s hit at 6 weeks got that kind of in control with b6. My boobs hurt bad I can feel the cysts, migraines are out of control and I'd like to just feel normal for a bit.
August 4
We will be finding out...hoping for a boy
My DS starts preschool today..we just moved to the area so I waited to enroll him until we got settled and I dont know why I am so emotional about it.
umm Kinda the same kinda different. I have ALLLLL day M/S but with my DD it was just like a puke and rally type of thing. I knew I would puke in the morning, then be good the rest of the day. I am 1000X more tired though, but I am sure that has a little to do with the fact now I am chasing two toddlers around. Almost out of the 1st trimester so hoping it gets better.
2. Team Green
3. AW your children! DD turned two last weekend. She is so sweet and never stops to rest, which I could use right now.
4. Have your symptoms been the same or different this time around? Different, much more nausea. I think I am more tired, but exercise is helping.
1. Due August 24th.
2. We will find out on April 3rd.
3. DD got a big girl bed from Santa and has been sleeping like a champ for the past week and a half. She doesn't even get out of bed in the morning, just calls us, just like she did from her crib. The transition has been way, way easier than I was expecting.
4. I'm much more nauseous this time around. And so, so tired. I could (and sometimes do) take a 2-hour nap in the afternoon and I'm still exhausted.
Baby Name Popularity by State
1. Due Date: August 7th
2. Team Blue/Pink/Green (we'll update these when we get there): Still thinking it's a girl
3. AW your children!: When you ask DS for a hug, he comes running over, puckers up his lips and makes a kissing sound. It's so cute!
4. Have your symptoms been the same or different this time around?: Same heartburn/reflux as with DS but the all day nausea is something new.
PS: Glad to hear you're feeling better, AlexKate. it sounds like things have been really rough for you!
1. Due Date is August 15th
2. Team Blue/Pink/Green (find out in 8 weeks!)
3. AW your children! DD is 5 and sometimes she still wants me to rock her. She will get her blanket and crawl in my lap and ask me to rock her and sing to her. DS is 15 and he makes sure everyday he hugs me and kisses me and tells me he loves me.
4. Symptoms have been the same for all 3 pregnancies. I have never (knock on wood) had m/s. Thankfully!!
2. Team can't wait to find out- (secretly hoping for team pink)
3. When my DS sees me sick and asks me if I'm going to live and if peanut is ok... Just melts my heart to see how much he cares.
4. 1st prenancy was easy, I had a great need for sleep, but other than that I was good. This time around I have learned to sympathize with those who have suffered m/s- it's not fun, headaches, and absolutely no desire for meat, which makes me worry about my overall nutrition. Hoping for a healthier 2nd trimester!
2. Finding out! No clues yet. I've unconsciously called baby he and she, so who knows.
3. DD loves to sing and tries to sing not quite successfully songs from Pocahontas and Lion King. Very glad Christmas tunes are over!
4. I haven't been sick but my nose and gag reflex is much more sensitive. I'm also tired during the day but haven't needed a nap. The tough thing is, now after having one, I am SUCH a light sleeper and am having a really tough time falling and staying asleep all night.
Izzy and Baby A ~ Adorable Punks
1. Due Date: August 17th or 19th
2. Team Blue/Pink/Green (we'll update these when we get there) Team Green

1. Due Date- Aug 7th

3. Children- DS is going through this "momma's boy" stage. He used to be so social, but now all he wants is to just cuddle me in public. I'm loving it
4. My symptoms have been much easier this time around with the exception of fatigue. Fatigue has been really hard to deal with since I SAH with DS. I feel bad for him that I'm not as playful lately. I know I just need to get through these next few weeks! Last pg I started feeling good again around 12 weeks.
1. Due Date August 25th
2. Team Blue/Pink/Green (we'll update these when we get there) Hoping to stay team green
3. AW your children! DS just transitioned to his big boy bed and is sleeping great in it! He was potty trained in November at 25 months and thought it would be good to have him in a bed now too. So proud of him!
4. Have your symptoms been the same or different this time around? same symptoms as 1st pregnancy, all day nausea starting right after 6 weeks. Seems worse this time but could just be that I tried to erase MS from my memory
::waves:: Hi BTDT mommas!
1. 8/10
2. Team Green (having a little trouble this time around with it)
3. DD turned 18 months old yesterday and had her check up today. The pedi could not believe her vocabulary and that she knows shapes, upper and lower case letters, and most numbers. I know I was beaming like an idiot!
4. Symptoms are much less severe this time except for fatigue. I had all day nausea with #1, and for now it's just very slight in the evenings. Bearable!
We are finding out, hoping for another girl since they will all be within 3 years apart
Dd1 has been trying to show dd2 how to crawl all week! Super cute. I can't wait for her to be moving around on her own
Way worse symptoms this time. I have been in zofran for about a week and it is helping with the nausea. Super tired, but who wouldn't be with 4 kids!

4. Have your symptoms been the same or different this time around? I vomit less this time around, but still am nauseous quite a bit. Less acne this time, too.
Eta sorry mobile bump made that real ugly to read!
2. Team Blue/Pink/Green: Team anxious to find out!
AW your children!: My DD is 6. First thing she asks me in the mornings, is how the baby is doing. Just melts my heart. She's so excited.
Have your symptoms been the same or different this time around?: 1,000 times worse. I had only mild morning sickness with dd, and none with ds. This time around its been miserable.
Sorry for any typos. I'm bumping mobile.
Ladies, I'm so sorry I dropped the ball on this check-in. I was hospitalized for HG and have been having a terrible time with M/S this time. But I think I've turned a corner this week and kind of feel human again. Glad you're feeling better!
Anyway, here's the check-in!
1. Due Date: August 17
2. Team Blue/Pink/Green (we'll update these when we get there) We'll be finding out
3. AW your children! DD has really been putting together a lot of sentences. Last week she pointed to where the Christmas tree had been and said, "Lights, all gone." So cute.
4. Have your symptoms been the same or different this time around? I feel a lot more tired. Not sure if its really a pregnancy symptom or just a result of also having a toddler but I could sure use a nap right now!
1. August 26th
2. Team green for now, but we'll find out when we can!
3. Amelia has been singing like crazy- songs that we sing to her, songs from her CDs, and, best of all, singing everyday things. The other day she was "singing" our friend's baby's name while we were out to dinner. I love it!
4. So far, I'm not having lots of symptoms. I've been really tired for a few days, had lots of cramping and have to pee frequently, which I also had with my first. However, I'm not having other symptoms, like bad nausea and super tender boobs (so far!)
Your daughter is adorable! Sorry you're feeling so sick
Wow, sorry you've been so sick! Hopefully you'll continue to get some relief!
Due August 18
Team finding the heck out
My big boy has developed quite a vocabulary since starting pre-k ... Sunday night he told me that his friends at school are "button pushers", and that he is "capable" of cleaning up after himself. *sigh* I can't wait to hear what he learns next year at public school. My little boy is officially a CRAWLER!! He learned Christmas Day, and now motors around at lightning speed. His new favorite place is the kitchen, and he likes to drag toys in there to play with.
This time my symptoms have been much worse. I can't go more than 90 minutes without eating or risk vomiting everywhere, but most food turns my stomach. I'm exhausted. Last weekend I only left the couch to pee or to throw up. Thank goodness for DH. Heartburn is back with a vengeance, and I'm averaging a nosebleed a day. Oh and I feel like a beached whale. Bloated, crampy and FAT. Lovely. My other two pregnancies were a breeze compared to this one!
1. Due Date: 8/28
2. Team Blue/Pink/Green: Team Green I think!
3. AW your children! Ellie is 16 months now and she is hilarious. She gives the best "cheesy smiles" on demand, and she loves to make us laugh. Recently she discovered that she can put on ever vest/coat/sweater she owns at the same time by hanging them on her arms. She looks crazy and homeless and I love it.
4. Have your symptoms been the same or different this time around? I am about 1000x more nauseous than last time. I feel like I could vomit at any second, all day long, but I never actually do. I don't remember feeling like that last time (or maybe I just blocked it out!)
This is amazing! Gives me hope for the teenage years:) Though, I have a girl, so...
I'm sorry you've been so sick!
1. Aug 29
2. Team Green
3. DS has been talking up a storm lately and has started to say short sentences. I love hearing his little voice. Most of the time
4. Symptoms have been worse and started earlier this time.
2. Excited to find out and hoping for a girl, but will be just as happy with another boy
3. DS is 15months and has just broken out into a signing storm. He's getting to be such a big boy in general.
4. Nausea has been more severe. Still haven't vomited, but come close multiple times a day. Way pickier with foods (only aversion to meat last time) and having some pretty intense cravings. Also my boobs just started getting sore. And the fatigue!
