new to this birth club (i think)

So, it's been crazy lately, with the holidays and moving into a new house in the beginning of December.  And I haven't been keeping very good track of my fertility lately.  I know I had no cycle in December and none this month, and I've had some symptoms that have made me wonder, so I bought the pregnancy test yesterday and took it this morning.  It was positive.  Only I have no clue when my last cycle even was.   I know my period returned in September, and had a second in October, but I cannot remember for the life of me, if I had a period in November.  I don't have it recorded, but it totally could have slipped my mind to record it as I wasn't really back in the habit of keeping charts and it was such a crazy time.  Oh well.  I guess the midwives have some tricks for figuring this sort of thing out.  It's a strange sort of feeling of excitement and "oh no are we ready for this"  I keep having to remind myself that #1 will be older when the new baby arrives.  We didn't want huge gaps between our kids and were kind of aiming for 18 months in between, so this is a little earlier than expected.  Depending on how far I really am, I'll be due in July or August, which would make #1 16 or 17 months old.  Oh well.  Not sure how I'm gonna make it through the summer that pregnant as with #1 I was sweltering all winter long.  Guess your body adjusts though.  Just needed to share.
