I hate the posts about food

Every night while I'm  in bed catching up on the bump and I read a post about food I get this uncontrollable urge to eat. That subway post had me craving a ham and cheese sandwich with extra mayo. So that is what im eating. This is so not like me.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who gets influenced by the food posts!

Re: I hate the posts about food

  • Sometimes I'm totally "meh" about them, and don't even end up reading the whole thing. Other times, I basically use them to make my grocery list lol. And still other times, I end up sending H out on a run for something, or stop on my way home from work. But that's only happened like twice.

It's also the reason I didn't post what I ate in mine post earlier - because I know it drives some people batty.

  • I'm really indifferent about food at this point. I have my own weird cravings that no one here would probably love in a million years!

  • I too saw the subway post and sent my DH out to get me my favorite. Yummmm!
  • I can't even look at food right now, I'm so envious of you, it all looks good but when I get it... I just can't do it.
  • The Wendy's spicy chicken one got me today. It's all I thought about all afternoon. Haha.

  • I am the complete opposite! Any mention of food makes me gag. I can't even check pinterest without wanting to yack.

  • There was a post the other day about buttered toast, and I spent the next 3 hours wanting buttered bread products...started with toast, graduated to a bagel, and by the end I really wanted a buttered English muffin. Then, I started thinking about a buttered English muffin with peanut butter, and then I thought about peanut butter and bananas.

By the end of that food fantasy journey, I had my husband make me buttered pancakes topped with peanut butter and bananas.

Every time I read a food post, I take a food fantasy train of thought, that usually ends up with me eating something.

    I'm not sorry. :)
