Party Favors

What do you think is a reasonable amount to spend on party favors for a second birthday? We are having about ten kids at a bounce house venue. Im not into chotchki toys so I was going to get each kid the $5 Kohls Cares for Kids Dr. Suess Happy Birthday to you and write a personal thank you to each child for coming inside. Thats enough right?

This is for all the caterpillars that never became butterflies. And for all the butterflies that never felt the wind in their wings. And for all the hearts that had hopes and dreams of a wondrous flight together.

Re: Party Favors

  • I think that's plenty, and a very cute idea!

  • Definitely plenty! I spent about the same and just did a bag of candy and goodies so that sounds like a great idea!

  • That's perfect. I honestly would not spend more than $5 per kid. You are also paying for the party, the food, the drinks, etc.
  • That's great!!!  We generally do about $5 each depending on number of kids.
  • We have 8 kids coming to DD 2nd and I got color books and crayons from Target, box of gold fish and then they will have little baggies of candy from the pi?ata to take.

Color books: $2.00 each (on sale from $4!)

    Crayons: $1.00 each

    Gold fish box: $1.00 each

  • Thanks! I couldnt get the Happy Birthday Book b/c it was online only but I did run to Kohls and grab the ones they had in store and wrote a personal thank you inside. I also figure part of the proceeds goes to kids charity so win-win!
