And I am too lazy to find the post.
But I thought you might enjoy this Urban Word Of The Day:
(I'm thinking Hester)
January 4: going commandtoe
Going commandtoe is when you wear shoes without socks. Often done in the summer or if no socks are available.
Does not apply to when wearing sandals/flip-flops because socks in that context would just be wrong anyway.
Ray saw it was a bit of a scorcher outside so he decided to get some air between his toes by going commandtoe
Re: I can't remeber who it is that doesn't like socks.........
As I hit post I thought it's Hella!
So I remebered
I also hate socks. I wear flipflops from April to October to avoid said socks. And most often throughout the rest of the year I only wear socks when I have to go out and they come off the minute I'm home.

I can't wait until I'm on mat leave and I can take a year off socks.
I love socks. Love them. Love how they wrap around my feet, keep them warm. Good socks have arch support (or something) that feels amazing when you put them on.
Oh yeah, I wear socks and sandals in the shoulder seasons. Yup.
LOL
^^^^
Spring and fall when the weather is technically too cold for sandals but not cold enough to necessarily warrant warmer footwear.
I love the flip flops with the bottle opener!!
I hate socks with a passion!! I wear flip flops and sandals until we get snow and then I were my Uggs and Merrils without any socks!!! The only time I ever wear socks is with my tennis shoes at the gym. Any other time is unacceptable! DS takes his socks off constantly too! It drives me nuts in the car, but he does it without fail!
Once I was visiting a friend who lives about 30 miles
inland, it was winter and I wasn't weaing socks.
Her mother was appalled.
My friend explained it by saying "Oh, she lives at the shore"
I draw the line at those flask flip flops. One too far.
I draw the line at those flask flip flops.
Well in January here it is usually -20 or colder with 4+ feet of snow..... so no flip flops here.

Sandals I'll wear.... usually with socks at that point. It's actually the snow more then the cold that makes me wear socks. Although last week when I was sick I went to the store more then once with my skater shoes and no socks.....
