I'll start by saying I have absolutely no idea what position DS is in. I'm not one of those persons that can tell body parts based just off of movement. All I know was that this baby was head down at 28 weeks (sonogram).
The past couple of days, I have been feeling hiccups both super low and then also up high (above my belly button). Usually within hours of each other, but it seems a little late in the game for him to be flipping that many times in one day. Is is possible that when I'm feeling them higher up, it's coming more from his back? I don't even know if that makes sense but maybe someone knows what I'm talking about.
I just assumed you always felt hiccups where the baby's head is! DS1 stayed in the exact same position basically my entire pregnancy so a moving baby is new to me!
Re: Hiccups low and high?
Between my mother talking to me, and my LO having hiccups a couple times, it is pretty much a whole body reaction for LO. Because remember they are kind of in a neutural boyant state.
That's exactly how it feels! You described it much better than me! I usually feel them low on the left side and then high on the right side.
Thanks to everyone who responded, I feel a lot less crazy now knowing I'm not the only one!
This is EXACTLY how it feels for me too.
