I'm looking for recommendations for an umbrella stroller. I am sooo over the travel system stroller and looking for something more compact, light weight and less bulky. TIA!
I am interested to see what people have to say! I have been looking as well and I really like the Jeep Wrangler All Weather Umbrella stroller. I see a lot of good reviews with that..
I love my umbrella stroller but it's nothing special. It was given to me for my shower and it's from Babies 'R' Us. This is the one I have but I have it in hearts.
I got the Uppa Baby G-Lite umbrella stroller- it's one of the lightest made. It was between that and the Maclaren for me. I got the G-Lite and LOVE it- it stands on it's own, I can break it down or pop it up with one hand and baby on the other (not gracefully, but I can). And if -God forbid- it breaks, Uppa will replace it FREE.
I love my Uppa Baby Vista Strolelr and Uppa GLite- Uppa products and service so far, so I thought I'd stick with a good thing.
Here's a link to a review of the top umbrella strollers:
I got the Jeep Cherokee Sport stroller and I LOVE it!
It squishes down to nothing, I can open and close it with one hand very easily and it's extremely well made. It reclines and there's a nice sized basket underneath it. This thing has better shocks than my first car.
I have the UppaBaby G-Luxe and love it. I haven't used it with dd yet (I'm using the UB Vista still), but I used it a lot with DS. It folds up very small, stands on its own and is easy to open.
We just got this one because I'm sick of lugging around our giant double stroller and my son can walk on shorter trips. Haven't used it a ton yet, but so far I like it. And it's not crazy expensive like some strollers.
It's small and light and easy to fold up. But it's a pain to hook and unhook the part that keeps it folded. I am 5'7" and DH is 5'10". It would not be good if you are taller than us. The handles are positioned very oddly that make my arms hurt after a bit. And it's not really 5 pt in my opinion because there's no chest clip. It's definitely no good until your LO is sitting up very well. It's fine for sidewalks and asphalt but not so great at gravel or something really uneven. The sun canopy is useless.

It's very lightweight and good for quick trips or small places. I hope that helps!

I got a chicco for cheap on craigslist but I don't love it. It's similar to this
