Anyone else sad all the time?

Okay, so I know that I'm filled to the brim with hormones right now, but I feel like I'm just always so sad. Even though I have a supportive family and a lovely boyfriend who is there for me through thick and thin, I feel so unloved and depressed everyday. It just makes me feel awful and I don't really know how to deal with all of these emotions. Is anyone else dealing with the blues and how do you handle it?

  • You can see a counselor or psychologist that has always helped me. Do things you enjoy. If you are loosing interest in things you used to enjoy..id suggest to go talk with someone. Youll be ok! Hang in there! Also go out in the sun walk excercise be out and about not sitting around! That willmake it worse.

  • :(  I'm sorry you feel this way!  Did this just start since you've been pregnant?  I'm sure a lot of it has to do with hormones.  I suffered from PPD so I know what hormones can do to your emotions.  I would talk to your doctor.   I hope you feel better soon!

  • I have days that are really bad, like today, but then other days are better. If you feel sad everyday, I would talk to your OB. I'm sure they can help you differentiate between what's normal during pregnancy and what's not. And either way speaking to a counselor should always be beneficial. I'm sorry you are feeling down...

  • I'm highly crabby and blah all the time. Everyone is so excited and I'm not there- however I've been sick since week 6 (now at 16) after a lifetime of rarely being sick at all. I think that's half my battle. I've just been trying to stay positive and not focus on too much- I've been reading alot of my favorite books, because I at least feel somewhat accomplished then.

  • Definitely talk to someone! I know this feeling all too well and just getting all of your emotions out can be such a stress reliever. This is something that a ton of pregnant women (and non-pregnant women) deal with and the great thing is that you can do something about it. Good luck!!
