What are you giving your nanny for Holidays?

I've only been back to work for two weeks, but I know we should still be generous with our nanny.  If you don't mind sharing, what will you be giving yours?  I was thinking of giving her the equivalent of one weeks pay.  Does that sound reasonable? TIA.

    Thats what my Families always gave me and it made me more than happy! So yes- one weeks pay should cover it!

    I've heard one week's pay and a personal gift.

     We are giving our childcare provider (she watches at her home with one other child) one week and an ornament (nice....like lenox or something.....still have to buy it!!!Smile)

    One week's pay? ?Wow. ?I had better save up. ?I already got her a winter coat. ?I was planning to give her a couple other personal items (slippers, hat/scarf/gloves) and a little money. ?I didn't know that a week's pay was standard.

    It might vary by geographic area. I'm in the NYC metro area and everything is more expensive here... christmas tips/presents included.
