DS fell while running down the hall last night and smacked his head on the molding. He got a huge bruise and egg. It looks nasty, but no concussion.
This morning he was complaining it hurt when anything touches it, and asked for a kiss to make it all better. I kissed it, and he touched it and said "still hurts, kisses no work."
The rest of the morning he sulked around saying "mommy kisses no work".
I was really hoping to have magic kisses for a few more years. Poor kiddo.
Re: Kisses are no longer magic
Hopefully your husband still finds them magical? Regardless of location.
Ha. DH said something similar in a text.
He was a bit more specific about location, though.
This is making me giggle at my desk.
