Re: Pregnancy Check In - Due Date List
Thank you for doing this! Mine has changed to the 21st of June according to my most recent scan.
Oh, and today I feel great! I am thinking that the nausea and cold symptoms have left me, and it feels terrific! My milestone is that my tummy has finally popped out! V was out at our rental property doing some work yesterday, and she came home and said, 'Wow babe! That's some belly!' its fun
Also, I discovered A Pea in the Pod this weekend. I got some (expensive!) but nice clothes, and bought a Snoogle, which looks and sounds silly, but is really helping me sleep more comfortably.
All is well... But the nausea... Oh, the nausea!
We have our first appointment with our doctor on Friday, so that will be cool!
In other news, MIL is coming to visit for a week. God help us all.
Hi all - I haven't been posting in the Bump for a few weeks due to my insanely large signature pic. I've done everything - deleting the link, deleting cookies, logging out, restarting my computer and emailing the bump. Nothing is working. So I've been silent. Here's my one and only post until it is solved. Please enjoy the life-size picture of my son.
I got my BFP on dec 10th and had my first u/s this morning. We saw a beautiful heart rate of 168 and the baby was measuring perfectly! I have my first ob appointment tomorrow. I'm pretty nauseous and it is kicking my behind. I had no morning sickness with N, not a moment, so it's throwing me for a loop. And I'm exhausted - ohsoexhausted - but I can't complain since I am a SAHM and take 2 naps a day with my little boy
Due date: August 23? I haven't been given my date yet but this is what I am coming up with.
Please add me to the list!
Due date is 8/29/13 based on our IVF transfer date.
We had an early first ultrasound at 6w1d on Friday and were lucky enough to see the heartbeat! The count was around 111, which is fine for that early and she said it was probably higher just really hard to count. We have a second ultrasound at 8w1d in 2 weeks...
Otherwise, feeling pretty good! Sometimes tired in unexpected ways, but managing that with lots of 45-60 min. walks and prenatal yoga classes or video at home. Exercise seems the only thing that brings me back to life. No morning sickness (knock on wood) or smell/food issues. So far, other than fatigue and super big/sore boobs, all seems well. Fingers crossed this continues!
Thanks for doing the checkin! Best to all the pregnant ladies!
Me (43) and J (45) - same sex couple. And we don't feel 40+!

Dec.' 2, 2013 - FET#3 with our last chance embie - BFP!!!

EDD 8/20/14 with a baby girl!
Little S was born on 8/21/14 - 8lb, 14 oz and 20 inches long.
We live in Seattle and used SRM for our donor egg IVF cycle
We had another ultrasound a couple of weeks ago. Heart rate was 160 and baby was measuring perfectly on track. Now if we could only get the baby to sit still long enough to hear him I'd her on doppler...
Finally, we came out to both of our jobs and families. Both of our bosses and coworkers are super excited for us! My family is super pumped. My parents are really excited because this will be their first grandchild however we also learned that my brother and SIL are due two months after us! So exciting!
J told her mom. That didn't go over very well... She says she wants nothing to do with this baby so, as you could imagine, we're pretty devistated. We're trying to give her some space for now and just see if she will eventually come around.
Sorry if there are tons of spelling or punctuation errors, I'm bumping from my phone today.

Yayyy the 3rd trimester has finally began!
Last night laying in bed, I watched my entire belly move. It was amazing & the first time I had seen him so active from the outside. I could always feel him in there moving like crazy but this was awesome.
The peeing has def picked up. I have so much pressure on my cervix its crazy. I cant imagine it getting worse over the next almost 3 months.
Come on April 5th, Im ready!!!!
I'd love to be added! I'm due 2/14/13 with a girl
The third trimester is definitely the roughest for me so far! My butt is getting kicked. After a scare in Labor and Delivery on Thursday and continuous sharp pain on my right side (possibly gallstones) I'm ready to be done! Only a couple more weeks until the LO is done cooking!
I have just over 2 months left and I hope it comes quick! I am pretty much done being pregnant and ready to meet my baby girl. My wife was out of town for 5 days and came home in shock when she saw my belly! It has grown so much this month! I can't imagine growing for 2 more months!!! Nursery is complete, shower is in 3 weeks, and nesting is in full force.
Can't wait to meet Kenley!
We are two days shy of the 34 week milestone with twins so that feels great! My cervix is still holding at right around 1cm that is also really good news (5 weeks and no progress so yay for modified bed rest!). We will find out more on Thursday at our very long appointment that will include a growth scan, BPP and NST.
On the flip side, I am so done being pregnant. Mentally I will do whatever is necessary to keep these boys in until full term but my body is done. I am now measuring almost 46 weeks, don't remember what ankles and calves are and I am exhausted all the time. Heartburn and nausea are killing me daily and I would really love to sleep more than 2 hours at a time but a baby on the bladder, has me up every few hours to potty. I think I have hit that final wall that you just kinda have to remind yourself to put one foot in front of the other and breath. I will say that mentally I am holding pretty strong right now despite the physical pain.
M sees how hard this is getting on me and does an amazing job and reminding me throughout the day, what a great job I am doing. Also I got some kind words from the ladies on the multiples board this morning and they reminded me from this point out, every 1 more day I keep them cooking is 2 days less in the NICU/special care nursery so if that's not motivation I don't know what is.
I started a blog for the boys where I moved all the letters I have written then throughout the pregnancy. I am really excited to have somewhere to put it all and somewhere to put my thoughts as we navigate parenthood.
I hope everyone is doing well and holding strong!

Wow, I'm so sorry. That just sucks. Hang in there and hold on tight to all the positive support you ARE getting. And then, well, there's always us!
I'm chugging along as well. My biggest issue is still just this cough/cold that I've had for almost 2 months now. I'm definitely better, just not quite done with it yet.
I'm finally measuring back in a normal range (about 1 week ahead) so that makes me happy. The little guy is moving around like crazy, and I love it. I feel like a human fishbowl, if that makes sense to anyone else out there.
We have a looooong list of intimidating things that need to get done, like meeting with/choosing a lawyer, figuring out health insurance for the LO, completing all my maternity leave paperwork, finishing the nursery, etc. But at least I can check 1 thing off of my list - we've hired a Doula! Yay! I'm so excited to have that settled, and really excited to work with her.
Reading everyone's updates this week really made my day today.

I'm feeling amazing (mentally) because we got to see our little bean on u/s today!
Today we went an appt with my OB (even though we'll transfer care and plan a home birth) so that we could have an early u/s for reassurance. C took a video during and was so cute, holding my arm and double checking with the doc that there was only one (twins run in my family). We were happy with her response of just one in there. Baby is measuring exactly on target at 8w6d and we joked about how sure we are of the conception timing. The ob printed us each a pic of our little gummy bear blob.
We're now in travel planning mode to visit family to share the news in person with as many as possible on the West coast. I've also booked consults with the home birth midwives we want to meet with.
Physically I'm still tried, nauseated if I don't eat regularly (snacking is my savior and I was amazed I lost 2 lbs in the past few weeks instead of gaining 10), and now that I'm over my cold I'm ready to get back to exercise (walking mainly, plus starting swimming and yoga soon).
So glad to have found this forum!
My partner and I are expecting August 26, 2013. I'd love to be on your list!
