According to my due date that was given to me (January 25), I am 37 weeks along. But whenever I go in for my check-ups my doctor says something different. My last check up was last week and he had told me I was 34 weeks instead of 36 weeks? He wasn't my original doctor from the get-go. I recently had to switch doctors. My original doctor actually went by my due date. Is there something that I'm missing or do you guys think I'm/he's making a miscalculation?

Re: My doctor has gotten me so confused!
I've only had one ultrasound this whole pregnancy and that one said my EDD is January 25th.
Your doctor could easily have read the chart wrong on accident. My doctor has done it a few times but I never bother to correct her because its only an estimate not a guarantee.
The ob checked my belly and said... Huh you're a little small for how far you are.
I told her about the nurses mistake and she quickly corrected it and said based on my REAL timeline baby is fine.
So you never know maybe someone wrote it wrong and they never corrected it? Next appt tell them your due date and have them use that chart thingy to show you where you're at. That way everyone sees it and its finally corrected.
This.
I would've asked for clarification right then and avoid going back through the channels to try and confirm that they have kept your EDD.
It sounds like a slip up. Maybe he was having a long day. Either way, confirm at your next appointment or call before then.
I was actually going to ask since this wasn't the first time but every time I go in to see my doctor he always seems in a bit of a rush or something. I'd be at the start of a question and he just walks out the door like he didn't hear me start to talk. All I'm able to get out is "Why ---". I'm actually wanting to switch doctors again but in my area I only get the choice of two ob/gyns.
