This week will be another informal check in as I completely forgot today was Sunday until about a minute ago and won't be home for another couple of hours. I hope you all had a fabulous holiday week!

Dx PCOS (June 2006, re-confirmed March 2012), Anemia (May 2010-Still fighting to correct it), Fibromyalgia (May 2011)
Initial b/w - normal
HSG (March 2012) revealed right tube open and looking great. Left tube deformed with hydrosalpinx.
Lap (April 2012) Removal of left fallopian tube. Right tube open and viable, but "rather enlarged." NO evidence of endometriosis...Uterus looks beautiful and "very capable" of carrying a pregnancy!
October 2012 - Clomid 50mg + trigger + IUI = BFN
With all factors taken into account, RE is recommending IVF. Planning on moving forward with treatment as a single woman using DS by Summer 2013.

We are in the 2ww. The HPT I have says I can test tomorrow. The doctor says I can test on Wednesday. I'll probably do both.
QOTW:Sitting in our hottub (which I've been taking a break from) while it snows!! Of course, my least favorite activity is getting out and walking back into the house! Lol
I've been kind of quiet on here, but I'll throw my update in!
We are still on a med break (other than Provera since I don't get AF on my own) and trying on our own again until maybe Feb, possibly March, we'll see what our tax return looks like and will go for our first round of Femara & Ovidrel.
QOTW: I like to curl up on the couch in a comfy blanket, drink peppermint hot chocolate and watch a good Rom-Com.

I've got to go back in for yet another blood draw tomorrow to make sure my beta levels are falling as they should. And I'm really hoping the bleeding will stop soon, it's been 10 days already! Sheesh! I'm also keeping my FX that my RE calls after my results come in tomorrow so I can ask about setting up the tests she wants to run before our next appt.....she didn't have an opening until the 22nd. Grrr!
As for my favorite winter activity def curling up on the couch with DH. We are summer people and don't do all that much when it's cold out!

ETA: 1. My name is Sarah, 2. started ttc March 2012, 3. No diagnosis yet, going to see RE on Thursday for the first time. 4. I have taken provera twice because of no periods, my husband had an abnormal SA. Doctor prescribed Femara but I'm not going to start taking it until I see my RE Thursday.

Treatments: I am currently doing my first medicated cycle with Femara. I'm 4 DPO. Im anxious, excited, scared, hopeful - pretty much all over the place:). Regardless, I feel so much better now that I have a diagnosis, a great RE, and a plan in place.
QOTW: I don't really have one specific favorite activity - I really just enjoy the cozy aspect of winter: layers, hot drinks, soup, chili, movies on the couch, snuggles with my dogs, etc.
Hi girls! Today is 11dpiui #5. Nothing to report. If AF comes it'll be on Wednesday. I'm trying not to do HPT. I'm so. freaking. tired of squinting at them and trying to see lines.

Update: I'm currently a day or two post ovulation and feeling ridiculously hopeful. Like, hopeful to the point where if I don't get a BFP, it will be devastating. I can't even explain why, other than I've seen huge improvements in my health/hormones in the past few months (Chinese Medicine) and I just feel like somehow this is the month. I was almost hopeful enough not to order more OPKs and another tube of preseed, but I caved and did it. I'm telling myself if I don't need it, I'll give it to my newly married friend who is due to start trying right away. Anyways, my main priority is to stay as calm and peaceful as positive as I ride out the 2WW.
QOTW: My new 'thing' is my aerogarden - an indoor mini hydroponic greenhouse where I just started an herb garden. I love it! It's been absolutely frigid here for the past few weeks, so no real outdoor winter activities for me

I have 2 more birth control pills and then wait the usual 4 days for AF to come (Provera doesn't work anymore, boo). Then it's another round of Femara, and possibly a Bravelle shot(s), and then IUI!
Favorite winter time activity: Snuggling on the couch with DH and catching up on our DVR, with hot chocolate and peppermint marshmallows!

Hi Ladies,
Got benched this month, so I plan on trying to relax and enjoy the month. I have PCOS (Cyst + Funky Hormone). Favorite winter activity, watching movies and drinking tea. I am going to try Red Raspberry Leaf tea, as I read it helps with fertility. Who knows, worth a shot.
Edit: forgot the qotw! I love skiing, but we don't get to go often. I like sitting inside with a cup of hot chocolate and watching the snow fall.
QOTD: I love to ski but unfortunately skiing in the Midwest just doesn't cut it. I also love to read by the fire cuddled up with my DH and my dogs.

I'm spotting and all tests have been negative so far. I'm just waiting for my bright red flow to start. I am disappointed but not surprised. We will most likely do another Femara + TI cycle unless I can talk DH into IUI #3.

I just started my second round of Clomid last night. I didn't have any side effects last cycle but, this morning I woke up with a simmering rage. DH felt my wrath and I now feel badly about yelling at him because he's on a 24hr shift right now. The rage is still there though.

Update: I have an appointment tomorrow to speak with my doc about having a lap to diagnose and remove endo. AF is about to leave, but I'm still having some nasty cramps, yay.

Update: Last cycle was canceled because of a 29 mm cyst. Somehow, even though I only had a 21 day cycle and a super light AF, there was no cyst when I went in for baseline today.
Go figure. I was expecting it to be there. So...we're switching to Femara and adding IUI. As long as DH doesn't change his mind again.
QOTW: I don't really like winter. So I would have to say my favorite activity would be curling up on the couch with a cup of hot chocolate and my new Kindle.

I am currently on CD14 and will go in for IUI #4 tomorrow morning, this cycle we did 150 mg clomid + trigger.
We had a consult appointment last Thursday to see what we will do if this cycle fails and the game plan is to do IUI #5 with clomid + Injects then IUI #6 straight injects then move to IVF. I would have liked to move to IVF quicker but insurance requires I try 6 IUIs first. I more than happy to wait 3 months if it means the IVF is covered.
