I had to get the freaking chickenpox!! I am the lucky lady who apparently can get the chickenpox twice. Its awful and I am getting super depressed. Oh course B and K have both been exposed and there is nothing I can do to prevent them from getting it now. I am bf B in hopes that he will get the antibodies but of course I cant take the good anti itch meds for it because of BF. I wouldnt wish this on my worst enemy. I want to peel my freaking skin off!!! I want to cuddle with my babies and smother them with kisses.

They are starting to blister so I am hoping its almost over and I cant wait! Please if you can send me some good thoughts and prayers that I heal quickly and that B and K dont get them!

Oh my goodness! How awful!! That's not even something I would ever even think about! Poor thing...

Oh that's awful!! I only had it as a child but I still remember my mom giving us the oatmeal baths a couple times a day because we itched so bad. Hope the kiddos are spared and that you are better soon!!

the symtoms started the day I delivered. The incubation time is 1021 days so I am hoping by the end of the month we will see something : ugh this sucks

Ugh poor Momma

I thought having to have my appendix out when Jericho was 3 weeks old sucked...chicken pox would have been way suckier! I hope they clear up soon and the kiddos don't get a bad case. I actually hope mine catch it...I would rather not have to have them vaxed for it.

Eeeek! That's terrible! I had them as a kid 3 times in a few months b/c the first two times weren't bad so I apparently didn't build up the immunity and kids at school were all getting it. I hope your kids don't get it. Did K get the vaccine?

Oh, that's absolutely miserable! I think there are lots of natural things you can do for anti-itch, like calamine, baking soda baths (although I guess you can't take baths right now...), etc. Hang in there, and I hope it's over soon!

Oh, my! I hope you're ok and feel better soon. I've never had them and apparently am in the 15% for whom the vaccine didn't work. I know they are horrible as an adult and am hoping I can continue to dodge them. DS had the vaccine, so he should be in the clear (unless he's like me!).

I got shingles a few years ago and that was torture - and it was only on my mid-section. I can't imagine getting the chicken pox all over right after delivery! UGH! you poor thing! Sending healing thoughts your way!
