1st trip to ER and overnite hospital stay......

Just got home from Childrens Hospital and my DD has Croup and Viral Resp. Infection. It started on Monday when I took her to doc, they gave her amoxocillan (sp?) said she would be all better by weekend, by friday no better, took her back, gave me a different antibotic should be better by Sunday. Saturday she woke up at 4am extremely congested, worked thru it and she seemed to be better, woke up from a nap and sounded horrible croupy. Called the doc back and explained what was going on, and they said to go to ER. That place was packed out....they give her steroids and a breathing treatment and we were expected to go home. They then decided she needed another breathing treatment so we go to be admitted. I just hope and pray she gets to feeling better. My DH is recovering from walking pnemonia and now I have this horrible sore throat. I am so over all this sickness.
