DD1 has been on a cereal kick lately which of course means DD2 has been on a cereal kick lately. Except DD2 is allergic to milk. I feel bad giving her dry cereal and hearing her beg for 'mook'. Which of the alternatives will taste the best on cereal? Also, I am hoping to start getting something in smaller cartons since she doesn't finish a half gallon within a week, any suggestions on that?
Re: Which milk for cereal?
I personally prefer rice milk on cereal. DD1 will take rice milk or coconut milk on hers. Coconut milk is too sweet for my taste, but it has the highest fat content of all the dairy alternatives. If you buy the shelf stable cartons, you can get them in 32oz cartons.
I haven't tried almond milk myself yet, as DD2 has a nut allergy.
