I realized a couple weeks ago that I don't have any luggage. No suitcases, no duffle bags. I did get a fairly roomy (and pretty) diaper bag for Christmas, though, and I think I'll just stuff that for the hospital instead of bothering with finding a duffle bag or something. If I bring my own pillow, I'll just carry it separately.
Thoughts?
Re: Anyone else using their diaper bag for their hospital bag?
Personally I would use it as an excuse to buy myself an overnight bag. Oh wait, I did that anyway.
My diaper bags are no where near big enough for me to use for myself and the baby. I would need like 6 of them. But if it works for you, go for it.

I have one piece of luggage, but I don't want to roll in with a suitcase. I have an old duffel bag that displays the name of my old company that's just navy and nothing special. This is my first "planned" hospital birth, and I felt like total garbage with DS because I didn't have any of my own things. EXH had to run home several times to get me some stuff, and then we carried it out in a trash bag.
Definitely looking into a cute but economical bag to take.

This is what I did last time too. No way could I get everything in just the diaper bag, but mine is on the smaller side so maybe you could if it's a big one?
ezra everyday
I've already packed the diaper bag with baby's stuff. Add in a few extra blankets for the trip home and it's full.
Sadly, this time, we have 4 bags - one for me/DH, one with DD's stuff if she needs to spend the night with family, one for DD's toys/food for the waiting game at the hospital, and one for the baby. Granted, they're all pretty small bags.
If you can't buy one, use that pillow! In college, I would always fit a ton of stuff in the pillowcase so I didn't have to pack much for a weekend at home.
Ditto all of that! I can't imagine not even having a duffle bag -- what do you do if you go somewhere overnight!?
Target has some great deals on luggage -- I'd go buy a small zipper "flght attendent" bag to use, and that way you have it for future needs as well.
