fluoride

Doc gave a prescription for vitamins with fluoride. I don't believe the water is fluoridated in my area. I'm on the fence about fluoride this young. Just got me wondering what all of your feelings are on giving our munchkins fluoride.

    We don't have flouride in our water and I gave them my DD and this LO.  Some flouride is fine.  Too much is bad.  But the amount in the vitamins is perfectly fine.  If it means anything, my DD is 6 and she has great teeth.  No cavaties as of yet and they are healhty.  I have been taking her to the dentist regularly since was 2.

    It's in our water so my kids have always gotten it that way.

    I have a tough time with fluoride. It is not in our water so the Dr. gave us the drops for DS. It just didn't feel right to me. He gets fluoride topically through toothpaste and at the dentist. I feel like it's over kill to get the drops too. I worry about the discoloration in the teeth from too much. We haven't given any to DD yet. I'm still deciding what I want to do.
