Looking for something to read.

I need something to read.  I am a big fan of historical fiction preferably a series.  I am looking for either a good mystery or fluff or both if you can swing it.  I am now re-reading a series for the third time in about 4 months because Amazon is only suggesting crap. 

I have read everything by Phillipa Gregory and most of Rhyss Bowen's stuff.  Janet Evanovich is getting stale.  Thoughts?

    If you like Phillipa Gregory, Jean Plaidy is supposed to be simiilar.  Also, I read The Autobiography of Henry VIII by Margaret George and it was great (and huge).  She has a couple of other similar books, but I haven't read them yet.

    Oh, and if you like historical mysteries, I'll ask my dad for some suggestions.  One that I know he loves is Murdoch Mysteries by Maureen Jennings, which take place in Toronto in the 1890s.  There's also a TV show.
