For fun and profit! Well, probably not for profit. And I even have to go to bed shortly, but it seems like the board has been a little slower of late! So.
What's the last, best movie you saw?
What's the last, best book you read?
If you had a whole Saturday to yourself, how would you spend it?

I have never read Ender's Game and really want to! I love science fiction and fantasy.
I also love your Saturday. And I'm with you on the missing babies... I feel like I spend my day just wanting a few minutes to myself, but even a few hours after she's gone to bed I want to hug her.
What's the last, best movie you saw? DH and I actually had a date night to see The Hobbit, though that was the first one since my second trimester as there was no way I was sitting through a movie without a pee break in third tri!
What's the last, best book you read? I just read Leigh Bardugo's Shadow and Bone and really, really liked it.
If you had a whole Saturday to yourself, how would you spend it? I would sleep in (wouldn't we all?) before heading to the coffee house nearest my house to do some writing and drink a whole pot of coffee. I'd probably spend the afternoon organizing a closet or tidying the basement, some Type A personality chore that I have no time to do but get a great deal of satisfaction out of doing. Then maybe sushi and a movie with DH

I saw Les Miserables on Wednesday. It was awesome!
The last really good book I read was probably The Help. I don't read much....
A Saturday alone? I would take a looooong shower, go for a long run, nap and do some baking. All of these I can do with DD around, but to do them without worry or distraction would be therapeutic!
We had a date night a couple weeks ago and saw Lincoln. It was pretty good.
What's the last, best book you read?
I am still reading it, but The Pact is great so far.
If you had a whole Saturday to yourself, how would you spend it?
I would sleep in, stay in my pjs and drink coffee while reading a book. Then I'd take a super long shower and actually dry my hair after. Then I'd go shopping and out to dinner and drinks with girlfriends.

~*~*Everyone Welcome*~*~
I am a loser and haven't seen any movies recently (unless you count children's movies and I would rather not). Probably the most recent I've seen would be Elf (although I have seen it many times before). I do love that movie though!
I do love to read and have a very weird/unhealthy obsession with WW2/Holocaust fiction books. I have read several recently, with one of my recent faves being Once We Were Brothers.
i am not sure what I would do on a free Saturday. Probably the salon and a day of shopping and lunch with a good friend.
Best movie: I haven't been inside a theater in a very long time....maybe thr sixth Harry Potter movie or the last Bond movie before this one. I can't say I saw the "best" movie ever recently but DH and I are currently watching DVDs of the HBO miniseries John Adams. I read the biography by McCullough years ago.
Best book: I have read good ones recently. The Help was great! I also like Kate Morton's books and just finished her recent book although the title escapes me right now. Currently reading The Columbus Affair by Steve Berry.
My dream Saturday would be taking a long hot bath with a book, going shopping, and baking. And maybe throw in a glass of wine too.. I can still take baths, go shopping or bake but it's rushed because of the kids. Today, DH is taking DS to a friend's house to watch football so I have some quiet time with DD. DS has been demanding and looking for negative attention. I am so tired of yelling at him.

What's the last, best movie you saw? The most recent Batman movie, hoping to see Lincoln this weekend.
What's the last, best book you read? The Hunger Game series, I loved it
If you had a whole Saturday to yourself, how would you spend it? If it was still winter (I'm in MI it's super cold) I would spend it at the spa, if it were summer, definitely the beach. I love the beach so much
it is however very different with a baby, it's fun and great in different ways but I loved just laying in the sun quietly.

I loved The Help! Still haven't seen the movie, though.
I really want to see Lincoln! We'll probably have to wait until we can rent it, though.
I wanted to go see the most recent Batman so badly, but at 8 months pregnant, I was just sure I couldn't manage it
I use to read quite frequently, but lately haven't had extra energy for it. I did read the 50 shade series and loved it. I am ready for another series or a good feel good book. Nicholas sparks or something along that line
I'm not sure what a Saturday alone I would do. For me if I had one night where I can sleep through the night no feeding or pumping that would be amazing. I don't need a day.

Best book? Does a series count? I loved the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. Not scary, just SciFi.
I long for a day at a spa on the beach, sipping mimosas, aahhhhh....
What's the last, best movie you saw? DH and I had a date night last weekend and saw Lincoln. It was good!
What's the last, best book you read? Lexi and I read Green Eggs and Ham the other day. Oh wait... Not a kids book? Yeah, I can't remember the last adult book I read!
If you had a whole Saturday to yourself, how would you spend it? Doing nothing! I would sit on the couch and watch a movie uninterrupted, eat something messy, and just lounge.

This time I'm not leaving without you.
DH really loved the first few books in that series! My favorite King novel is The Shining.
Wizard and Glass was my favorite in the series. I had never read any King before the Dark Tower. DH turned me on to it, and I was bummed when I finished it. I missed the characters. I haven't read The Shining, maybe one of these days!
