For mobile: City Mini Car seat Adapter or Snap and Go?
Last night I got an amazing deal on a 2011 City Mini ($80!!!!). I understand the convenience of being able to plop a car seat into a stroller, but do not envision myself using it a ton. (FWIW, I live in a suburban area, so we're in and out of the car a lot.) Do you think it's better to get the car seat adapter for the City Mini or a Snap and Go? Or, since I don't think I'll use it much, just wait and see if it's something I want after the baby gets here? I'm not buying anything now, just thinking about what to put on the registry or watch for a decent used sale of (especially the Snap and Go). Thanks!
Re: City Mini Car seat Adapter or Snap and Go?
I would buy the Snap n Go, and on Craigslist. That way, once your LO is old enough to not need the infant seat anymore, you can re-sell it on CL and not be out any money.
I bought the City Mini and adapter, but wish I had just used the Snap n Go.

That is definitely something I have considered. I've also considered skipping the infant seat all together and going to a convertible, thus negating the whole problem. I'm leaning more towards not getting either one until baby gets here, and I feel more strongly one way or the other.

Yep. And the adapter is comparable in price to the snap and go too.
Also, FWIW, there is no way I would give up my infant seat for suburban living. There were way too many times DS was asleep in the car and I had to get in and out to run errands. It was too easy to just unsnap him and let him snooze.
