Stinky breath

Micah's breath smells awful some times. DH says that it smells like rotten milk, but he's a fool. It depends on what foods he's eating, but there are times where his breath is really gross. I try to wipe his mouth out with a washcloth at bath time, but some times his gums are still sore from teething, so he won't let me near his mouth. I've introduced a toothbrush, and it's hit or miss. Sometimes, he laughs while I brush his gums, other times he yanks it out of his mouth.

Do you brush your LO's teeth/gums? Have you ever noticed bad breath?

    I have not noticed bad breath yet.  we "brush" our teeth in the bathtub too.  Which pretty much means that I wipe out her mouth with her washcloth and then she sucks the water out.  In fact I love it because when I say "lets brush your teeth" she opens her mouth very wide now :-)   DH just bought a baby tooth brush today which has the soft little nubs on a thimble looking thing with baby tooth paste so we will see...

    My DD recently had bad breath. I think it was because of the cold she had though. Because the cold is cleaning up and her breath doesn't stink now. So I am just assuming it was due to the cold.

    When DS has his avocado and banana mixture his breath is awful. So stinky. I haven't tried brushing or anything yet. I probably should. I'll be honest and say it probably won't happen for a while.

    Kate has stinky breath, but I just assume it's caused by her severe reflux.
