Lurker with a question

I lurk here some times but need some advice. I have three boys tried to wear each and hated it until my youngest was born and I found the moby. I've enjoyed that but he's 8 months now and I think by summer I'll want to back carrier. I need advice on a reasonably priced carrier I'm thinking about a woven wrap. Ideally one that I can use for my 26 month old too.

I've used an ergo, infinto, and a few other structured carriers and hated them. I do love my scootababy for shopping and short trips but I'm looking for something for longer trips.

  • For back carry, I love the kinderpack. I like wraps, but for quick in and out, I love the buckle kinderpack.

  • If you want wraps, or any carriers, thebabywearer.com has a fsot or trade board, with lots of great quality secondhand carriers. The bonus with wraps is that they're often already broken in.

I like doing a ruck tied in front for a quick back carry with a shorter wrap. I also like a double hammock carry if I'm doing a long hike, but that takes a longer wrap.

If you browse around the site has heaps of info on types of carries, and carriers.

The expensive things tend to be ones that were limited editions or are "fashionable" right now. But there are lots of cheaper options.
