Thoughts on three boys names (Sebastian, Leo, Bertram)

Thoughts on these names: Sebastian, Leo, Bertram? For Sebastian, I know it is gaining popularity, but how popular is it REALLY? I don't have too many concerns with Leo - but my sister thinks its sounds like a dog's name. I'm really loving Bertram. I actually prefer the French Bertrand, but I think Bertam is more English-friendly. Our last name is very Germanic-similar to Krug. Thoughts (just for fun!)?

I also like Sebastian and Leo. I know Bertram as a last name only, so that ruins it for me. I do know two Sebastians, but they are both in their thirties. I've never met any young Leos or Sebastians and have never met a Bertram at all!

Bertram is a no for me, it sounds to me like an old black man.

I like Leo and Sebastian, but maybe you will like Bastien?

It's sort of between Sebastian and Bertram

One of my favorites, it was on our short list, I think it's also spelled Bastian

I like Leo. I don't care for Sebastian and I dislike Bertram. I actually feel like Leo is gaining more popularity than Sebastian, not sure if its true though.

I like Sebastian the best - and I don't think it is getting too popular. Leo is just OK to me. I agree with pp that Bertram sounds stuffy or pretentious. Not a fan.

I love Leo...it was my Grandfathers name. Sebastian is nice too. I don't care for Bertram at all.

My nephew is Sebastian so I love it and I don't really hear it much so I don't think it's too popular.

I dated a Leo so I'm meh about that one. Not for me but not bad at all.

I really dislike Bertram.

Bertram is not my style. I can't see the child loving the name as he grows up either, no offense. I don't like Sebastian either but again it's not my style. Out of the 3, Leo is the only one I like

I like Sebastian and Leo. I don't care for Bertram. It feels too much like a last name. Or like he needs to be Bertram Lastname IV. Hard to imagine on a little boy.

Leo is a great name. Sebastian isn't too bad either. I really dislike Bertram. I agree with everyone who said it sounds too stuffy. I would picture Bertram as an old butler or something.

The cheese stands alone. I quite like Bertram! I knew of a couple a few years ago who planned on naming their son Bertram and the nn was going to be Bertie (which I think is so fun and uncommon). I believe there was an association to the crow or raven bird with the name Bertram? That was something this particular couple thought was cool bc those birds had significance in their lives.
