Threatened Miscarriage

So yesterday I went to the bathroom to see a toilet bowl of bright pink water in the bowl. So I of course panicked and went to the ER. They did an ultra sound, but since I am only 5 wks pregnant, they could not see enough to give me good or bad news. Same results from the pelvic exam. So now I have to go check back in on Monday with the OB. Has anyone else been through this? All I can do is sit and wait for the results from the beta testing and maybe another ultra sound. Of course the nurse says people have come in and bled during pregnancy and still delivered a healthy baby, but of course every worse case scenario comes to mind. I know all I can do right now is "try not to think of it".

Does anyone have experience with this?

I bled just that short time. and have not bled since. When they did the pelvic they found some clotting, but could not tell what the clotting consisted of.

Had you Guys had sex or anything? I'm sorry it happened but hopefully it's nothing. Fwiw, the ER will always say its a threatened miscarriage. Nothing you can do.

went thru something very similar last week when i was just about 5 weeks, and of course had a panic attack freaked out and ran to the hospital, they did the same thing and ultra sound and some lab work, they didnt see a baby just a gestational sac which they said was normal because i was so early, and they actually told me that i was a lot earlier than i though i was, according to my last period i should have been between 6-7 weeks but i was just a day under 5, so you could be off on your calculations and that why they dont see much yet. i had spotting for like 5 days and had an ultrasound 5 days later and there was a baby and a heart beat! they told me it was just implantation bleeding, but i still have a heart attack everytime i go to the bathroom. good luck!

I am 5 weeks also and had the same thing happened last night. I spoke to my OB and they told me if the bleeding became worse to go to the ER. I still have slight spotting but not as bad as yesterday. I have an appt with OB on Monday. I am praying everything is okay

I am glad that I am not alone with this situation. It definitely helps me be calmer, and optimistic. Thank you ladies. I will definitely update you guys with any news I find out. Thank you so much. This is a wonderful support system we have here.

I am going through the same thing right now except with cramping instead of bleeding. Going back tonight for my second quant. Did they see your gestational sac on us?

Unfortunately I did not have a good us tech. She would not tell me anything or let me see anything at all. I did get a quick glance at what looked like the sac, but I do not know for sure.
