Crawls and Bumps

Has this happen to your baby.  My 8 month old is learning how to crawl and into everything.  Last night as he was trying to crawl his way to the couch he bumped his head on the tile.  Needless, to say he cried.....I put ice on his forehead and kept him up for 2 hours.  He did continue to play like nothing happen.  He does have a small bump on his forehead.  This is what I have to look forward to in the months to come!

    Yes you do! My daughter has been crawling on hands and knees for two months and she now stands up and walks along holding onto things. She falls ALL the time! Just now as I was writing this she fell and smashed her face into the coffee table (I'm not even kidding!) I can't hold her all the time so she doesn't falls... She wants to be moving and doing things alone. Ugh! I'm scared she is really going to get hurt! Also, every day I get an incident report at daycare!

    Just wait until they are new walkers, and then they get so excited they run everywhere instead of walking. Trust me, it only gets worse. Then, they are old enough to ride a 2 wheel bike with no training wheels and crash. My DS had a lump on his forehead that went from his hairline to his eyebrows. i ended up taking him to the ER.
