Last night, I put DS down for what I thought was going to be a catnap around 6:15pm after a nursing session. It's not uncommon for him to take a catnap for about 30-45 mins after getting home from DC. He still wasn't up by 7:30 and I was feeling crappy and tired, so I decided that I'd just go to bed and drag myself out of bed when he woke to feed him. Well, I rolled over at 11pm and realized he hadn't woken up yet. I went in to check him and he was still sleeping peacefully. I was up again 2 more times to check him and still sleeping peacefully. So, finally he starts stirring around 6am, which is his common wake-up time. Not sure if it was a fluke or if we're starting on 12hr nighttime sleeps!
Just curious - what time do you put your LO down and how long do they sleep at night?
EDIT: prior to last night, he was going down anywhere between 7:30-9p and sleeping until anywhere between 5-6:15a
Re: Bedtime and how long your LO is sleeping at night?
He's usually in bed by 8, although some nights there may be something going on and he's not asleep until after 8:30. Then 2 wake-ups, lasting anywhere from 15-30 minutes (depending on teething issues and how hard it is to transition him to his bed after eating).
On a good day, he wakes up between 6 and 7. Sometimes that's affected by DD coming in and waking us up.
The last few nights he's been sleeping for a whole 5-6 hour stretch and not waking up until after 7:30, so I'm hoping this is a new trend.
We were putting Matt to bed at 8pm and he was waking at 1am, 5am, then up for the day around 7am.
However, our Dr switched formulas right before Christmas, and he was sleeping all night! Like from 7pm-5am, then 6a-730a.
With teething this past week, its all over the place. He is still going to bed at 7pm, but getting up around 11 or 12am, then around 4am, then up for the day at 7am.
I'm hoping he goes back to sleeping all night. I. am. exhausted.
It depends on the day. "Usually" dinner is at 6, so bathtime is around 6:30, and once the bedtime ritual is completely, bedtime is around 7. Sometimes it goes until 7:30. He will then get up to eat every 2.5-4 hours to eat, which takes about 6 minutes from fuss to me crawling back in bed. He's up for the day at 5:30, but that's because we're busy getting ready, and I always nurse between 5:30-6 before leaving for work.
Some days, he only takes one nap, so at 4 or 5 when he gets home, he crashes for the night. He still wakes up to nurse, but then goes right back to sleep and wakes for the day at his normal time. I always feel bad, because he doesn't get to eat dinner on those nights.

put little man down at around 8:30pm and he wakes up or i wake him up at 8:30am. he also still takes 2 naps.
It has been like this for months. but he has always been a great sleeper
LO nurses to sleep at 7pm, falls asleeps at 7:30 and wakes up between 6 and 7 each day.
He's been on that schedule since about 4 months old. Not sure how long it will last!
