Hi there,
Sorry I haven't been on the board in a while. Since I was diagnosed with GD back in November I have mostly been active on the High Risk board. Of course one of the concerns with GD is a big baby but I have the opposite problem. . .I am 36 weeks + 2 days today and my MFM doc guessed the baby is about 5lbs, 10oz which is smaller than average.
Has anyone else been there? Was your baby ok? Was the ultrasound inaccurate? I'd love any advice. I'm trying not to freak out too much.
Thanks!

Our perfect baby boys were born at 36w1d!!
Thanks everyone. I too am hoping the ultrasound is wrong.
I think the problem is that even though babies are supposed to pack on the pounds at the end, if she hasn't been gaining the right amount of weight all along, she might not pack on the pounds the way another baby would.
Here's hoping the placenta is healthy and strong and she comes out and surprises us as an 8 lber.
Thanks again.
