Weight of baby30 weeks

So I am 30 weeks and had my ultra sound today.. He weighs 3 pounds 8 oz.. My doctor said that he was in the 56th percentile which is perfect for me but everyone at work said it sounds like a huge baby.

What did your babies weigh in the growth scan!!!?

My son weighed 3lbs 6oz at birth and my midwives said that was the schedule size of a 31 weeker so that is probably right for the 56th percentile.

My baby weighed 2 pounds 2 ounces at 30 weeks but she is very small. I envy you!!

DD #1 was 3lb 2oz at 29 wks, 4lb 11oz at 33 wks and weighed 7lb 1oz at birth (39 weeks)

DS #2 was 3lb 0oz at 28 wks, 4lb 12oz at 32 wks and weighed 6lb 14oz at birth (39 weeks)

Current pregnancy 3lb 3oz at 28 wks, 4lb 3oz at 30 weeks = 64% (Im worried this one is gonna be a big baby, yikes)

I dont think you have a big baby at all. Pretty average. Besides those are only estimates, they can be off by a whole pound

My little guy was 2lb 15oz at 28 weeks 5 days. Doesn't sound too big to me!

That doesn't sound bad to me either. I had my ultrasound today at 29 weeks and 1 day and she weighed 2 lbs, 10 oz. The doctor said it put her in the 35th percentile. If your doctor isn't worried, I wouldn't be either. LO might have just gone through a growth spurt, too.

at my 30 week scan she was also 3lbs 8 oz

My baby was 3 lb 8 oz at just about 28 weeks via u/s. it was the 89th percentile I believe.

He was 2 pounds 6 oz at 28 weeks, the 32nd percent. I have another growth scan scheduled for 36 weeks so we will see then!

Just a heads up, my DD1 measured 75%+ the entire pregnancy. Everyone thought she would be a giant. when she was born she was 6#13oz. Long and skinny.

Your baby does not sounds huge. I think a big theme others here need to remember is that most people that you talk to are very misinformed. Take what others off the board are telling you with a grain of salt, in one ear and out the other. Unless, of course, it is your medical provider.
