I'm barely passed the 4 week mark into the pregnancy and it feels like an eternity before I can share the news with friends. I don't remember being this anxious this early the last pregnancy. I'm sure it will pass quickly... Right?

    For me the first week was torturous and them j went back to life "as normal". I just tried to keep myself super busy.

    I am experiencing the same thing!  I completely agree~ torture!

    It does start to fly by but the first few weeks are def torture.  I envy the people that find out when they are late in the first tri.

    I felt the same way when I was in your shoes and now I am just under 4 weeks out from my RCS!!

    I didn't find out until I was 7 weeks along and now I am grateful for that. Even so, weeks 7-12 went soooo slowly. The further you get into it, the faster the time goes. Hard to believe I have only 3 mo and 3 days left until my due date.

    The first tri was so long for me. I found out like you at 4 weeks and didn't tell anyone until after 12. I started to get m/s though which kinda made me feel more confident it would work out. Now I can't believe I'm this far along.
    TTC since Dec. 2010. Me: 37, DH: 38...unexplained RPL
    BFP #1 - missed m/c 4.18.11 found @8w3d, d&c @13w 
    BFP #2 blighted ovum found 8.2011 @8w, misoprostol
    BFP#3 - missed m/c 6.11.12 @ 9w3d, d&c revealed extra chromosome 15
    BFP#4 8.10.12, DD born 4/26/13

  • starting all over againstarting all over again
    The whole 1st tri was so slow to pass, I was exhausted ALL the time, falling asleep at work and everything!! Things quickened during the 2nd and now in the 3rd, its flying by!!!

    Thank you for the posts from women who are past the early waiting. I am 5.5 weeks and just trying to keep as busy as possible marking off the days until I get to see the fetal heart beat on an US and for a few weeks more until I emerge into the 2nd trimester and can tell the parents. Wishing you a well wait!

    I told at 4 weeks.  In my defense, it was my birthday and DH's birthday celebration and I could not drink the wine.  The first trimester dragged and now time is flying by.
