Braxton Hix?

What does a Braxton Hix Contraction feel like? I just had a dull strong strain feeling in my lower abdomen, felt almost like menstral cramps. It went away after about 20-30 seconds and then nothing. I feel my little man moving around so I know he's okay, but what sort of sensation should it feel like to have a BH?

I've been having those recently too. It feels like period cramps and lower back pain. I figured it was nothing to worry about because it went away after a few minutes.
