Baby girl name idea

We found out we are having another girl! This is number two for us. We are really excited but  dh and I agreed on a boy name we liked and not having as much luck with girl names. What do you think of the name Kellan for a girls name?

    I knew a girl named kellen. No issues with it.

    I like the name for a boy, but for a girl it just sounds like one of those boy names you gave a girl to be trendy...

    I think if you went with the C you're going to get a ton of mispronunciations as "Callin"

    I know a guy named Callan - he looks like a little hobbit troll from the lord of the rings. not good. ugh. 

    also.. if you like kellen, what about kelly?

    Too masculine... if you like Kellan, maybe Kelly or Kaylin?

    I love it. I'm not a Twilight fan so I'd never heard of that reference. I'm also not a fan of super uber girly names....I say go for it. Kellan has a little bit of tough to it but still feminine enough to know it's a girl!

    Except that the actor from Twilight named Kellan is a guy.  It's his real name, not the character's name.

    I don't like it for a girl.

    I went to school with a Kellen Jane and loved her name. It was unique and fit her well.

    I have a friend Kellen and she is adorable :)

    Since PP are throwing out other K options, I know a Kalynne and a Kalan, both prounced the same way.

    I have a female friend named Kelin, pronounced like Kellan. I think you should go for it if you like it. It's unusual but not too crazy! :)

    DD's name is Kellen and we love it.  No one ever says anything about it being a "boy's name" and we get tons of compliments on it.  It also is not super popular so it is nice that she has a unique name :)
