Hi all,
I am a first time expectant mom and I do not have maternity coverage. Seeing the estimates from my OBGYN have me freaking out. We are considering a midwife, but I don't know where to start.
Does anyone have recommendations for a midwife/birthing center in the Triad? TIA!
Re: Midwife rec in Triad?
The birth center in fort mill & the one in Statesville are wonderful.
I see the midwives at Triangle Physicians for Women (formerly Triangle OB/GYN) in Cary. They have OBs as well as midwives. Here's a link to that page. https://www.tp4w.com/nurse-midwifery.html
They deliver at Wake Med Cary which has a birthing center, but is not an independent freestanding one. For that you would need to head to Chapel Hill. Here's a link to that https://www.ncbirthcenter.com/ People rave about them, they're a bit far for me, otherwise they would be my 1st choice.
