I haven't posted here in awhile...but I had to share this with somebody...

CHLOE POOPED IN THE POTTY!  

Nobody is answering their phones so I can share this great news with them!  She was so excited Big Smile  We danced and sang.

She has a rash so I put her in a pair of panties that Santa brought her to air out the diaper area and she didn't get her poo face, but something made me think to put her on the potty!  I'm still so excited about it.  

I'm going to take this as a positive sign and try to potty train her next week (she also only goes pee every 3 or 4 hours...so I know she can hold it)

    That's awesome!  Let us know how it goes after you start. I'm very on the fence on if I want to start the process with DD before baby #2 arrives in 2 months or wait till well after to avoid regression. She isn't showing any interest atm besides just wanting to accompany DH or I to the bathroom all the time so I don't think she's mentally there yet.

    Congrats! that is so great!

     

    I am thinking of letting DD start practicing on the potty. I take her with me sometimes and she gets so excited and when she goes poop in her diaper she points to it and says "poo poo" so we'll see I guess :)

    Great job, Chloe! We haven't even started potty training - although I keep telling him he has to be out of diapers in the next 9 months.  :)

    Awesome!  I've started putting Chase on the potty before he goes to sleep for the night and I would say he uses it twice a week.  We always have a big party when he does.  We're not ready to potty train yet, I'm going to wait until he starts letting me know that he has gone in his diaper.

    That's awesome news!!!!  DD has peed in the potty before but never pooped.  I haven't started to train yet but will follow her lead as I don't think she is quite ready yet. 

    Congrats and be sure to let us know how the training goes!!!!

    Haha.  When I called my husband at work he sang her his "poopy on the potty" song...while sitting at his desk, surrounded by other people.  Some just looked at him strange, but every single one who had children at home either joined the song or started cheering and telling her she was such a big girl Smile
