DS woke up from his nap today and promptly climbed out of his crib and landed with a thump on the floor. He was fine if a little angry but I am stressed about it. He is only 15 months old. I am not ready for this. Crap. I was sort of hoping it was a one time thing but after I put him in his pack n play so I could go make him some lunch after his epic nap he immediately started climbing out again.
DH wants to go shopping for a bed for DS this weekend. I am not ready for this. He wants to grow up too fast and I don't like it. DD was the same way but at least she waited until she was 18 months before she decided that climbing out of her crib was something she needed to do.
*pouts*
Re: The escape artist.
We have the same problem. I bought this the other day. It seems to be working, because she hasn't climbed out since!
I almost snorted coke out of my nose! LOL
N is not brave when it comes to climbing and I'm okay with that. She has this little Dora step stool she has just started getting brave enough to take a step onto haha
ETA: I obviously meant soda not drugs LOL
LMAO at this! I really needed something funny right now too!
DS has started lifting his leg up over he crib rail. DH said a few times thought he was going to fall. DS just learned how to climb up on the couch, so now I'm worried he's figured out the whole climbing thing.
My DD is 2.5 and still in her crib. I'm not sure what I will do if DS isn't the same. I'm having anxiety about having to move DD soon, I can't even think about transitioning DS.
Ugh, why do kids have grown up so darn quick??
And now I am dead. There are just too many jokes to make now.
That's an interesting suggestion! He is a bit of a stripper though, if he doesn't like what he is wearing it comes off. But who knows he might likea sleep sack.
