where are the teeth?!!

I swear my 7 month old has been teething for a while and he wants to chew on everything he sees all day long.  He has also been very restless at night and not sleeping very well.  But there are still no signs of teeth coming on his gums.  What the heck?

    DD was "pre-teething" for 3+ months, and she finally got her first tooth at almost 8 months old. And that tooth just seemed to pop up out of no where. One day her gums were smooth, and the next day that thing was almost through. FWIW, our ped told us that it can be perfectly normal for some babies to pre-teethe for quite a while before those first teeth show up.

    i'm right with you!! his little face and hands are covered in clear snot and drool... and EVERYTHING is going in the mouth... but no sign of a single tooth.

    I don't know if this is true but with my LO the gums looked red and a little swollen like.  One came  in and with in 2 weeks second one came. Now back to chew on everything.

    we've been pre-teething as well, for quite a while now (4 months maybe) and nothing... we will be 8 months on Monday...

    We're in the same boat too!  At DS's 6 mo check up, his pedi said his gums were pretty swollen; he had been drooling profusely and chomping everything.  Fastforward almost 3 months and he's still showing all of the teething signs, but no teeth!  I think one may be coming very soon though; he has been like a velcro baby all day and hasn't been sleeping well the last 2 nights.

    Our LO didn't have swollen gums or any sign of a tooth, though she'd been drooling and chewing on everything for months. One day I looks and her tooth was broken through all of the way. The spot next to it showed no sign of a tooth trying to break though, but two days later that one was through too!

    No teeth here either and Nicholas is over 9 months! He's been teething since he was 5 months!!!
