testicular cancer. I can't really talk to anyone about it, so I am going to vent here. About 6 years ago he had a small mass removed from one testicle, they said it just peeled right off and later we found out it was less than 1% cancerous. So we weren't concerned, he did some follow up scans and nothing. Now, 6 years later he has had pain in his lower stomach and that area. So he finally went to the DR., a different one because we moved and he explaind to my DH that he was actually diagnosed with testicular cancer, which we didnt know, so we didn't take it that seriously, the DR never told him. So he had new scans and blood work and they found another small mass on the same side. I was so pissed because we were so scared that it could have spread somewhere else bacause he was having so much more pain this time and why didnt the DR ever tell us the 1st time. I know he said it was 1%, but we didnt know that meant anything. Anyways, they had to take the whole testicle this time, on New Years Eve, Happy New Year to us! He is doing ok we are just waiting for the results of the biopsy. I hope everything is okay, I think it is, I like to be optimistic. Anyways thanks for listening.
Re: So my husband has...
I'm so sorry you guys are having to deal with that! I'm sure it's really scary. I'll definitely be praying they got it all.
Are you going to follow up with the first doctor to find out why he didn't do anything about it?
You said your DH is doing okay; how are you doing with it all?
Gee that would be upsetting, I know some docs don't want to scare patients with the C word, but they deserve to know!
Hoping everything turns out ok, t&ps.
