We had our 16 week appointment yesterday. All seems to be on track and the heartbeat was at 147 bpm. Several of my friends are saying this means its a girl. I've not seen any conclusive research to prove this. V is considering finding out the sex at our anatomy scan next month. I can't believe that we will be half way through then!! Insane! Nausea seems to have left me - thank goodness! I still get nauseous if I get hungry - and that I can manage. I'm starting to show a little bump - which is exciting, but also means I need to find a way to sleep that isn't on my stomach. Oh, and round ligament pain is keeping me up at night. I'm very happy to have these problems though!
How was your NYE/New Years Day? 2013 Resolutions?
Have a baby, enjoy the process. The end.
QOTD: How do you take care of yourself during busy/stressful times?
I would like to say that I support my body with massage, acupuncture, healthy eating and exercise. The reality is that when I am stressed I tend to eat more, make poor food choices and sleep as much as possible.

Update... About 4 weeks to go. Work is a little stressful right now. The boys are doing well. I posted a pic of the ever growing belly and Sam's face in the PIP post.
NYE resolutions are to finish growing these boys then love the heck out of them!
When I am stressed I take a bath or get a massage. If I can't calm my mind that way I will talk it out with M.

Update: We're 8w2d, I'm sick with a cold and I'm just trying to get through until our u/s Monday.
Our NYE was quiet and our New Years Day was mellow. My resolutions/To Do List for 2013:
Prep for baby - emotionally, mentally, physically and financially
Career related steps/goals
Revamp my business website (I've been wanting to do this for years)
Travel - to see family, for a fun weekend away, and a camping trip
Monthly date nights (pre-babysitters)
More focused dog training - also a pre-baby item
More time for hobbies (knitting, sewing, decorating)
Put in raised-beds for veggies
QOTD: My self-care routine includes diet, acupuncture and walking as well as relaxation techniques, connection and discussion with C, distraction via reading for pleasure, shower/bath, watching movies/tv, etc.

We are back in the swing of things over here. Even though the kids were in camp most of the holiday break, it didn't start until later in the morning and traffic was light, so mornings/evenings were a lot less hectic. I anticipate a crappy Sunday morning doing homework.
QOTD: I need "me" time - alone time. I don't get much of it, but will hopefully be able to get more of it once L finishes and is home on the weekends. But once the kids go to bed, I surf the internet/read/watch tv for my down time.
Updates: not much. Going in to start our next cycle tomorrow with femara probably. Spoke with the nurse at the clinic yesterday about it and she thought it would be the best choice to get the most out of our cycle, so we feel good about that.
NYE: we had just gotten back from our Xmas trip so we put our stuff away and went to bed early! That said, we have been hanging out at a luxury hotel since Wednesday as a treat for ourselves so that's been a nice break before CM.
Resolutions: We are both hoping to get in better shape I think. I am also looking to cut out wheat this winter to see if it helps my sugars and asthma....
