1st Trimester

i just don't feel pregnant anymore

I have lost all ability to stay calm.  I went to the dr. yesterday because of pain on my left side and slow rising hcg levels.  Dr. didn't see anything and told me it was too early to even feel an ectopic pregnancy.  Well today I don't feel anything, no pain, but zero pregnancy symtoms.  My boobs barely hurt, my bloat has gone significantly down and I just don't feel pregnant.

I am SOOO worried this is it.  Just got back from my 3rd beta and have to wait all day for the results.  Please keep me in your prayers.  It took 18 cycles to even get a positive pregnancy test and now I just feel like it didn't work.

Thanks!

  • How many weeks are you? I remember the feeling of when all pregnancy symptoms went away and it terrified me.

I'm 4w1d and yesterday I lost my symptoms, which is normal, but it made me nervous.

    You got them back?

  • I'm sure it's normal for them to come and go at that stage. I didn't even know that i was pregnant or get symptoms until I was about 6 weeks.

  • Try to relax. Symptoms come and go.

  • Most women aren't feeling any pregnancy symptoms that early. And symptoms come and go throughout pregnancy, so you can't let it freak you out. Pregnancy symptoms do not necessarily indicate a healthy pregnancy (and the opposite is true too).

Thanks!  I remember you from TB when I was pregnant with my DS.  Congratulations and welcome back :)

  • I have zero pregnancy symptoms other then the postive test and the occassional sore boob.  It's still really early, and you might just be a lucky one who doesn't experience many symptoms.

  • At 4w2d I felt nothing, and that's common.
You really need to relax. You've been updating us everyday on how scared you still are. This anxiety isn't going to help anything. All you can do is wait and hope, just like the rest of us.

You are totally right!  I have calmed down a bit from this morning, realizing that I cannot control this.  Thanks for your feedback.  I will try to limit the complaining/worrying emails :)

  • I felt nothing at 4 weeks or 5. At 6 weeks I started feeling a bit nauseous on and off but wouldn't have thought much of it, if I didn't know I was pregnant. I think it's normal not to feel any different at your stage.

Everyone worries and it is hard being patient until we can have reassurance that things are fine, but we all have to do it. Over analyzing every pain and feeling doesn't help and this comes from a self confesses hypochondriac who has been on meds anxiety meds! Lol. It's so early for you,a lot of worn don't even know they're pregnant fir several week at this point. I don't think symptoms are a good indicator if the health of your pregnancy, and unfortunately all you can do is wait.

Good luck, prayers that everything works out for you!!

Don't worry about it.  I actually appreciated the honesty!  I wish I wasn't so panicky about everything. I guess I should remember that it has taken me 18 cycles to get here and the fact that I got pregnant this time is definitely progress.  Positive thinking is important and I definitely can help things by not overreacting!

If it makes you feel any better, I didn't even know I was pregnant at 4 weeks. Didn't have any symptoms then either. I will be praying for you. I know its hard, but try your best to be calm. Just take deep breaths and pray.
