I'm thinking of getting a city mini double, do you recommend it? can it fit through doors etc?
and if you have one what carseat do you recommend or use with yours? I'm deathly scared of the adaptor thingy and wondering if one carseat is better with it then another...
TIA!

Re: City mini Mom's
Love my city mini double and was very sad that I finally got it when DDs were almost out of their stroller days. Like most doubles, it will fit through standard size doors out and about--it's about the width of a wheelchair so if the doors are handicap accessible, the city mini double will fit. It doesn't fit through narrower household doors.
Sorry, no help with the carseats since we didn't use ours with one.

Everything that Keg said as far as fitting through doors.
I have the Chicco keyfit carseat. I believe there is an attachment you can purchase that works for many carseats or one that is Chicco specific.
I love the stroller- I used it with DS and my nephew (who is 3) and it was super easy to push and maneuver. I would have loved the city select but it was a little high price-wise for us since I am unsure how long DS will really be wanting to sit in it at this point.
This exactly. I wish I had gotten the city select the first time around.
This is same with us, except we still use ours almost every day. I've never used a car seat in it and plan to baby wear or use a snap and go while she's in a car seat, or just fully recline the seat and bundle well. I prefer the side by side over front and back, so do my kids. The steering of the city mini is amazing compared to most strollers, and it's light enough that I still easily get it in and out of my car being super pregnant. The sunshades are also an awesome unique feature and protect well against all kinds of weather.
