I have heard slight fevers can occur with teething, but not a high fever. DS has gotten his top 2 molars and is working on his bottom 2, and he has never had a fever. They suck. They have messed with his sleeping schedule and eating habits. We have given tylenol when the pain is really bad.

This is pretty much us, expect she has only recently cut one of her bottoms, I hope the rest come quickly - she's been a clingy, needy, whiny, not wanting to sleep or eat anything mess for a few weeks now. Plus running nose and slight fever. Boo. How high is the fever? She has not gone over 100.5 or so with teeth.
We have gotten lucky with DD. her teething has been a breeze compared to some of the horror stories on TB. :-/ She cut her first molar and I didn't even know it until she laughed really hard when I was holding her upside down a couple of days ago! She hasn't even gotten her second lateral incisor on top or either of her bottom lateral incisors. I hope you both have some relief soon!
Molars were nothing for DD.....now she is getting all 4 of her eye teeth! now that has been terrible! Fever of 101 almost all the time and not eating anything that isn't soft or cold. Hope LOs teeth come down fast
His fever has been up to 101.2, whiny, clingy and just not himself. It may be that he is sick but he never gets sick. Some say molars can do a high fever and some say no.
To top it all off, my long time friend and I were to have dinner today and I had to cancel because LO is just a mess. I don't think she was happy but whatcha gonna do!?

DS had a slight fever, runny nose and it messed with his sleep schedule really bad! Our Pedi said that fevers do not occur with teething, but our Chiropractor said that the fevers (slight) are the bodies natural way to combat any bacteria that might be introduced while cutting the teeth. Made sense to me. He said not to dose with Tylenol/Advil because it defeats the purpose of the bodies natural healing process.
We used Humphries teething tablets to help get him through the night. The rest of the day I wrapped a large ice cube in a washcloth and tied it with a rubber band. Let DS go to town with it and it helped to push the teeth through and soothed his gums (don't be alarmed if there is a little blood).
Good luck! Teething stinks. We are currently working on the eye teeth.

I hate them too, I think tonight is the first night I can remember in the last two weeks they haven't been giving DS grief. I didn't need to give him advil, but OHMYGOSH, AHHH he's been getting them since a week before his first birthday =(
