I was wondering if anyone had thought as far as nursery ideas? I know its early but I'm sure I'm not the only one whomakes herself think of the nursery or names when she's trying to relax and enjoy pregnancy.

I was thinking 'little monsters' like the crib set they have at babies r us for a little boy, or pink purple and green owls for a little girl. Whatabout you?

This is my second baby, so if its another boy, we'll keep the nursery as is pottery barn kids jungle animals. If its a girl, I'm thinking of a garden theme with lots of colors and flowers.

We're team green so we'll do something neutral like a jungle or ocean theme. Maybe owls in a gender neutral way. I've seen lots of cute stuff over the last couple of years when shopping for my nephews niece so I'm really looking forward to shopping for my own little one!

We did a super girly room for our 2 year old daughter Cambria. I'm thinking grey chevrons with yellow accents for the next bundle of joy. Of course, I'm sure I will change my mind about 100 times until we find out what we are having :

I'm likely to be in the minority here, but I won't have a nursery. We live in a one bedroom apartment and as we just moved here right before our wedding in August, we're not likely to move again.

We're team green and our nursery will be travel theme. The walls are already a green (which we painted three years ago when we bought our home, knowing it would be the future nursery) and the furniture will be white. We're leaving the full-sized guest bed in there so I'm buying new linens for it (maybe in light grey) and may recover the dark grey-blue-ish upholstered headboard and sides of the bedframe (depending on how it all comes together). Even if it comes across a bit more masculine and even if we have a girl, I'm fine with it. I have been pinning stuff for a long time that will serve as inspiration, and I'm excited to get started in the second tri.

I love your Where the Wild Things Are theme but my DH would never go for it. Right now I have tons of ideas swirling in my head. I am thinking if its a girl to go with more antiquey furniture but if it is a boy I am thinking very modern shapes and colors.. As of right now I'm waiting to find out the gender :

You are not alone. We don't have the extra money to do much of anything, so babies room is going to be a mix of whatever is given to us with white walls No theme, but free used goodies from my girlfriends....

Both sound super cute! Not too early because let me tell you I started talking about nursery pretty much the day I found out I was prego lol..it's so exciting to decorate! I had a little girl first but we picked a gender neutral green, cream and brown nature, dandelions and tall grass bed set, but I was thinking about changing it up and doing something more colorful with pop art for baby number 2.

Omg I looove a lot of ur ideas! Yellow and chevron, where the wild things are, Alice in wonderland, the map thing is too clever! I think I might put star stickers on the ceiling that glow in the dark. I used to have them in my room as a kid. Hundreds of them, so that when the lights were out it looked like you were outdoors

My son is just over 2 and his room was decorated with very bright colors coordinating with the PB "Baby Boats" line- I love it to this day. I haven't even given thought to this one yet, though. I need to know boy/girl first, plus I haven't even had my first US yet, so it still doesn't even feel "real".

Monsters sounds super cute! We're team green, we're not too keen on the super gender specific nurseries anyway. I fell in love with a picture of a teal, orange, and light green nursery. We're hoping we can use if for the next ones too!

I'm thinking of a forest theme. Our wedding was a fall/birch tree theme, so we are going to continue with that. The room will be either chocolate brown and orange, or grey and orange. I like the birch tree vinyl wall cut outs and this hedgehog mobile.

Well, we were just going to use the hand me downs from DS, but now that it's twins, we're going to find out the sex so we'll probably do something either pink or blue. Not sure yet. This is so weird this time around.

was thinking of doing grey chevrons in nursery be it boy or girl and then just accent color tourquoise or yellow, have my dads iron crib from when he was a baby and going to paint it whatever accent color i choose - so into the whole shabby chic so will def be incorporated.so not really a theme. but specific colors.

A bit sad i didnt use my dads crib for DS but just did his room in a navy and red with a subtle sailor theme - chalkboard navy wall with red picture frames all over it and a few quotes written on the wall.
